Why does the text position change after rendering?

If you have "Show Excess Luma" enabled in the Canvas, and have a subtitle with many lines of text, you will see the text position move after rendering. This is a bug in Final Cut Pro since the same issue happens with the built-in text generators. We have reported it to Apple.

The workaround is to disable "Show Excess Luma" when setting the layout of a subtitle.
