Why does Loader import a multilayered Photoshop file as a single layer clip?

Due to the complexities of importing multilayer Photoshop documents via XML, Loader will always import the clip as a single layer. However, the copied file still has multiple layers so the suggested workaround is as follows:

1. Right-click on the imported Photoshop (.psd) file and choose "Show in Finder"
2. The copied file will be shown in a Finder window.
3. Drag the copied file into your Final Cut Pro project where it will appear as a sequence with multiple video tracks.
4. Delete the original single layer imported clip which is no longer required.
